Grateful to been there 2014 to fly

I live in Japan and bought this kite on a whim in 2020 at Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu after seeing it being flown. Being ignorant I let them sell me a 120 ft. line set instead of a shorter one. I was able to find a place to fly it for a couple of times but ended up packing it away. Here it is April, 2024, I'm still in Japan and living on a beach, have a new 20m line set and am ready to go for the summer. Thank you for the things I need to know about flying this that I'd forgotten. BTW, I'm 74 and stuff like this keeps me clicking. Cheers!

Best kite of all time flexi blade 4.9 mk IV. Love it soo much but you gotta be careful! But for a less intense experience love my rage 1.8. I can flick that thing all over the sky. On a strong wind day, enough pull to get a workout too. I live in the UK so, often flying on a wet muddy field, but summer kiting looks a little more like your video, you lucky people! No wind = an RC Plane day!

Great video. I actually have one for sale that's in GREAT condition with original handles, line paperwork and bag. Does anyone know a good place to list it?

I fly this Jazz all the time, because it's so fast. I flew it the other day in around 15 to 20mph winds and that thing sounds like it has an engine. Very fast and very accurate..

I think the first kite would do a lot better with 20 grams more weight but maintaining the same CoG. The weight of the kite is how it stores the energy you impart to it through the line movement, and a kite that is too light get overpowered by the inevitable drag.

40 years ago, I had a stack of 3 - 6 footers. They flew great in the lightest winds and looked beautiful. Today's foils are not really set up to stack. So you have to go to a different size to adjust for wind strength. Do you know of any foil kites that can stack? Or how to get them to stack? Thanks.

I love the Infrared, but I did just buy the Zenith 7 in Ultraviolent. And I bought a 75' matching Prism tube tail. My Zenith 5 is SO much more stable with a tail! And that little carbiner is for walking down the kite? Not to "attach it to something" for convenience?

Dan and sue, I am a bit sad that you are retiring from the winddance sales business but nothing lasts forever. I am very grateful that you will continue support for your product. I recieved my winddance 3 as a graduation present in 2003 and was lucky enough to meet dan at your nearby post office to pick up my new winddance , it is a very treasured gift of mine and I fly it frequently, I would be very upset if anything happened to it. I am now in new zealand and I have tons of nice beaches and extremely smooth and steady winds to fly it in. Yesterday I had a new experience happen I doubt it has ever happened to anyone before, it was low tide and I was flying my airgear right about the middle of the tide lines on the beach, I crashed my air gear ahead of me and promptly relaunched it, well something was wrong and it seemed as if 2 of the segments were not filling up and the bridle seemed tangled, so I landed it to check out the problem well a clam had latched on to the bridle at the middle of the beach, it was sitting on the shore alive half open and when the line hit it it latched on and took to the air. I had to pry it off the bridle with my pocket knife! no damage to the bridle though. everybody that sees me flying it wants one, I am eagerly awaiting the plans that you will post on your website for the new generation airgear and the winddance 1 and 2. I might have to keep my out for a used winddance online, but I havent seen many here please keep up your cool attitudes and good luck in your future endeavors, and thanks for all the fun!

Have 75 and 150ft lines both are fun, shorter lines of course are lightning fast.

Anti stunt kite scene thing just slays. Dial in the chord they are the best. Wish I could get a new one.

Looks like you forgot to put the leading edge caps on both wings. Ooops. :)
